MAIN ENGINE
There is no point in having a State of the Art vessel unless you use the latest State of the Art equipment on board. That is why this vessel is designed for use with the NEW Yanmar 6LY3 – STP, 6 cylinder in line, 24 valve turbocharged, direct injected, intercooled Marine Diesel engines. Each engine is rated at 440BHP (324kW) at 3300rpm. What makes these engines so different is that they have a completely new and advanced Electronically Controlled system. The NEW 6LY3 – STP engine achieves more than 12% greater power and up to 10% better fuel consumption than the previous engines.

The Power is transmitted down through the ZF 220 reduction gearbox with its 1.15:1 ratio to the HJ292 Hamilton Waterjet drive. This combination can produce unbelievable speeds of up to 80 Knots. Alternatively it can cruise at 35 Knots and generate an impressive 300 N Mile range.

Wright International Ltd is delighted to be able to offer not just one design of these superb vessels but to offer up to SIX different options. They can be produced in Aluminium or FRP and they have a choice of engines and waterjets to deliver the vessel best suited for you. Manufactured to Design Category B these vessels were specifically designed for use in the Niger Delta and to transport up to 11 persons to where required when required.

The Aluminium Vessels have 2 HMG/LMG Gun Posts whilst the FRP version being slightly larger have up to 4 Gun Posts. The main aim of these vessels is FAST RESPONSE, VERY, VERY FAST response and that is why the choice of materials coupled with the shallow draft facility makes them ideal for use anywhere in the world where trouble spots may arise.
