Alando CK 178, a Colchester registered ex working boat, an Essex sailing smack built by the renowned barge and smack builders of their day the Aldous Borthers of Brightlingsea. Initially she was one of six, half decked open oyster boats, commissioned by a local Oyster man in 1923. Converted into a yacht in 1938.
She has taken part in the local Smack races and Traditional sailing Regattas.
She offers basic accommodation for two/ three persons. She has an auxiliary diesel inboard engine.
