Built by the renowned Brightlingsea Smack and Barge yard Aldous Brothers in 1889. She fished for the Oyster trade. She was converted to a private yacht between the wars by the Johnson Sons and Jago Boatyard of Leigh on Sea Essex.
In 2000 she was professionally rebuilt and today she is in excellent condition. An inboard diesel engine which was overhauled and serviced in 2018. There is a solid fuel stove, uninstalled, included in the sale, 8ft clinker timber dinghy with outboard and a boat cradle whilst ashore and an overall Winter cover. .
