Description
Owners Comments:
The Caliber 40 LRC has a large area for easily accessible storage due to the placement of the large capacity water and fuel tanks below the water line. This allowed us plenty of room for food, tools, clothes and supplies for being a liveaboard boat.
Due to the construction of the boat, she is very solid and takes heavy weather very well. Her sail plan is designed for quick and easy sail reduction from the cockpit. Everything that we and the previous owner added was designed to make our Caliber an excellent long distance cruising boat. It is set up to be easily handled by the two of us. While crossing the Atlantic we had 4 days of 35-40 knot winds and 5 – 6 meter seas, but the boat handled it well
We have owned Tsamaya for 15 years and lived on it for most of 12 years of those years. Never once were we sorry we chose a Caliber
